John Boettcher joined Newman Long Term Care in the spring of 2008. John comes to Newman Long Term Care with a vast knowledge of business and financial planning. As a member of the Professional Partnership Program ®, John builds business alliances with strategic partners. His focus is on assisting individuals, families and businesses with long-term care insurance planning. John has authored several articles on long term care.
John has been in the financial field for over twenty-five years, focusing on long-term care insurance and senior issues for the last five years. His interests were prompted by personal experience as his parents dealt with declining health, Medicare and Medicaid issues, in-home care, and eventually nursing home stays. After dealing with his parents' journey through various stages, John became convinced there had to be a better way to plan for these potential family crises. He realized that long term care insurance is the solution to this problem for many people.
John is a graduate of Saint Cloud State University where he majored in Marketing and Business. He worked as a sales manager for two major corporations, including a five year period with Ingersoll-Rand. John was responsible for sales in eleven states with customers including large utility companies, automobile and airplane manufacturers, as well as the airlines. He also worked with dealer-network management.
John has substantial experience in the financial area. He was recruited by a financial firm to enter their stockbroker training program and worked as a retail stockbroker and traded options. He later joined another firm where he served as a commodity broker.
